[vc_row][vc_column width=”1/1″][vc_wp_text text=”Most people don’t seem to grow much, if at all, after the first year or so of becoming Christians. They think becoming a Christian was all they needed to do, and now they are done growing. Their “learning phase” is over.

The tragedy here is their failure to understand the goal of the Christian life. As a result, people usually fall into two wrong ways of thinking. Either they think it’s all about following rules, or they lean the other way and do whatever they want, knowing they are covered by grace. Both of these ways of thinking have some merit, but they fall short of the true goal.

We must be continually learning and growing, continually cultivating virtues, habits of the heart, and the fruits of the Spirit, to become ever more the kind of people God has designed and destined us to be.

The goal of the Christian life is to give God glory. My hope and prayer is that this book will be a guide for you as you grow in your relationship with Jesus and that you may live your life with the true goal in mind.”][/vc_column][/vc_row]
