The Messiah is more than the sum of his tri-part office as king, priest, and prophet. Jesus is described in these three ways, but these descriptions don’t even come close to describing all of who he is. He is not “political” or “spiritual” or “magical.” He is God; he is the Savior; he is the Creator of the universe. King, priest, and prophet, yes. But we have to be careful not to limit him to those three titles.
