we’ve started a new class at the winds on wednesday nights. “telos” is a sequel to our ‘intro to christian spirituality’ class (called “doxa”) and focuses on the goal of the christian life. in a word, that goal is “glory.”
the word telos is the greek word for ‘goal’ or ‘point’ or ‘objective’, sometimes also parsed to mean ‘perfect,’ (as in, ‘be ye perfect, for your heavenly father is perfect…’ and yes, i just said ‘ye.’)
