Even in the midst of our worst fears coming true, the grace and peace of Jesus Christ are sufficient to sustain us through difficulty and deliver us out the other side. It’s going to be okay.
Yes—there are monsters out there, both real and imagined.
Yes—there are things in this world that can harm you, that can take away those you love, that can rob you of your possessions.
Yes—the world is unsafe, uncertain, and insecure.
All of that may be true, but what’s also true is that Jesus will sustain you and make you brave in the midst of even the most trying circumstances. While we are simply concerned with getting through life with the least amount of discomfort and inconvenience, the Spirit is working inside of us to make us strong and keep us courageous.
