When we get something new, the first thing we want to do is show it off. If we have a great experience at a restaurant, we can’t wait to tell our friends to try it. If we find a new product that has made our lives easier, we share it with others to make their lives easier, too.

Everything we have, we share in order to cultivate fellowship and charity with those around us.

Giving is an act of financial worship, but giving isn’t only financial. When we share our wisdom and our joy with our friends it strengthens the friendship. We are naturally a giving people. After all, we are made in God’s image. So share, give, and grow in your relationships—with God, your family, your church family, and your friends.

All the believers were together and had everything in common. They sold property and possessions to give to anyone who had need.
