Aren’t you glad God doesn’t budget his checkbook the same way we do ours? He sees the true value in things, and he isn’t concerned with nickel-and-diming everything.
God is a giver, and he wants his children to be also. God gives freely, without expectation of anything in return. Give like God. Freely. Abundantly.
You must each decide in your heart how much to give. And don’t give reluctantly or in response to pressure. “For God loves a person who gives cheerfully.” And God will generously provide all you need. Then you will always have everything you need and plenty left over to share with others. 2 Corinthians 9.7-8
